HYA MATLA
ORGANICS

Hya Matla Organics specialises in the harvesting of the highly invasive water hyacinth and turning it into organic fertilizer. Hyacinth is known as the worlds’ worst weed, completely covering dams and waterways where it has grown uncontrolled.

OUR PROCESS

We’re committed to streamlining our activities. From harvesting invasive water hyacinth to mineralising organic matter into our fertilizer, our process in the creation of organic fertiliser is designed to be as efficient and environmentally friendly as possible.

FERTILIZER NUTRIENTS

Our organic fertilizer is organically, chemically bonded to soil and is insoluble in water. As such, it does not leach and actively replenishes soils. Furthermore, all micro-nutrients available are released back into soils for crops – so there is no waste.
